Türk Telekom’un 2017 ikinci çeyrek sonuçlarına çift haneli büyüme ve rekor kâr artışı damga vurdu. Yılın ilk üç ayına yüzde 13,3’lük yıllık büyüme ve 4,3 milyar TL’lik gelir ile başlayan Türk Telekom, 2017 ikinci çeyrekte yüzde 14,2’lik rekor yıllık büyüme ile 4,5 milyar TL’den fazla gelir elde etti. Böylece 2008’deki halka arzdan bu yana en büyük gelir artışını kaydetti. Elde edilen bu sonuçla Türk Telekom’un gelirleri yılın ilk yarısında 8.8 milyar TL’yi aştı.

Net 350 bin yeni abone kazanımı ile birlikte toplam 39,6 milyon abone sayısına ulaşan Türk Telekom’un net kârı ise 2017’nin ikinci çeyreğinde geçen yılın aynı dönemine göre 3,5 katına çıktı. 2016 ikinci çeyreğinde 248 milyon TL net kar kaydeden Türk Telekom, 2017’nin aynı döneminde karını 890 milyon TL’ye yükseltti.

Tivibu, uygun fiyatlı kampanyaları, kullanıcı dostu kurulum seçenekleri ve de münhasır içeriği sayesinde 2017’nin ikinci çeyreğinde de hızlı abone kazanımına devam etti. 179 bin yeni abone ile 2017 ikinci çeyreğinde 2016’nın ikinci çeyreğinin altı katı kadar yeni TV abonesi eklendi. Böylece toplam TV abone sayısı 2,3 milyona yükselerek Türk Telekom’un ödemeli TV pazarındaki yükselen konumunu güçlendirdi.

Türk Telekom CEO’su Dr. Paul Doany, Türkiye ekonomisindeki olumlu gelişmelere paralel olarak Türk Telekom’un yılın ikinci çeyreğinde de beklentilerin üzerinde büyüdüğünü belirterek, “Yılın ilk altı ayında yaklaşık yüzde 14’lük bir büyümeyle 8,8 milyar TL gelir sağladık. Bu olağanüstü performans ve Türkiye ekonomisine olan inancımız doğrultusunda Türk Telekom olarak 2017 yılı için büyüme öngörülerimizi yukarı yönlü revize ettik. Yıllık büyüme öngörümüzü 2016’ya kıyasla yüzde 8-9 seviyesinden çift haneye çıkararak yüzde 10-11 seviyesine yükselttik” dedi.

Türk Telekom’un 40 milyona yaklaşan abonesi ve 34 bine yakın çalışanıyla ülkenin lider bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri şirketi olduğunu vurgulayan Doany şunları kaydetti: “Geçen yıl tamamladığımız marka birleşmesinin sağladığı sinerji, daha da dinamikleşen operasyonel yapımız ve güçlü teknolojik iştiraklerimizle Türkiye’nin telekomünikasyon pazarına yön veriyoruz. Tüm hızla devam eden 5G ve yeni nesil teknolojilere yönelik çalışmalarımıza ek olarak kurumsal girişim sermayesi mantığı ile inovatif girişimlere de yatırım yapmaya odaklanıyoruz. FAVÖK yıllık yüzde 30 rekor artışla 1,7 milyar TL’ye çıktı

Şirketin konsolide faiz, amortisman ve vergi öncesi kârı (FAVÖK) ise Nisan-Haziran 2017 döneminde, 2008 yılındaki halka arzdan bu yana yıllık yüzde 30 rekor artışla 1,7 milyar TL’ye yükseldi. FAVÖK marjı yıllık 4 puanın üzerinde büyüme göstererek yüzde 38’e çıktı. FAVÖK’teki bu güçlü iyileşmenin ardından 2017 ikinci çeyrekte faaliyet kârı da yıllık yüzde 50 artışla 939 milyon T’L’ye yükseldi. Böylece Türk Telekom Grubu, yılın ilk yarısında kaydedilen güçlü gelir büyümesi ve operasyonel kârlılık artışının ardından 2017 yılının tamamı için büyüme öngörülerini yukarı yönlü revize etti.

Doany: Büyüme öngörüsü çift haneye yükseldi

İkinci çeyrekte de hedeflerimizin üstüne çıkarak olağanüstü operasyonel ve finansal sonuçlar elde ettik. 4,5 milyar TL’nin üzerinde gelir elde ettiğimiz ikinci çeyrekte net kârımızı geçen yılın aynı dönemine göre 3,5 katına çıkardık ve 890 milyon TL’ye yükselttik. Bu olağanüstü performans ve Türkiye ekonomisine olan inancımızın ışığında Türk Telekom olarak 2017 yılı için büyüme öngörülerimizi yukarı yönlü revize ettik.

Doany: 3,3 milyar TL yatırım planı

Bu revizyon kapsamında Türk Telekom’un 2017 yılı için FAVÖK beklentisinin de 5,8-6,0 milyar TL’den 6,3-6,4 milyar TL’ye yükseltildiğini kaydeden Doany, şunları söyledi: “Kurumsal data ve bilgi teknolojilerindeki projelerde ikinci yarıda gerçekleşecek hızlanmaları da göz önüne alarak 2017 yılı yatırım planlarımızı 3 milyar TL’den, 3,3 milyar TL’ye çıkardık. LTE spektrum ödemesi hariç tutulduğunda Türk Telekom Grubu olarak 2017 ikinci çeyrekte 545 milyon TL yatırım harcaması gerçekleştirdik. Türkiye’nin dijital dönüşümünü gerçekleştirmek amacıyla bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri ekosistemindeki inovasyon ve yatırım odaklılığımız da tüm gücüyle devam edecek. Tüm hızla devam eden 5G ve yeni nesil teknolojilere yönelik çalışmalarımızın yanı sıra kurumsal girişim sermayesi mantığı ile inovatif girişimlere de yatırım yapmaya odaklanacağız. Böylelikle hem ülkemize hem de şirketimize daha hızlı ve sürdürülebilir değer yaratmaya çalışacağız” dedi.

Doany: Telekomünikasyon pazarına yön vermeye devam ediyoruz

İkinci çeyrekte Türk Telekom toplam abone sayısının çeyrek bazda 350 binlik net artış ile 39,6 milyona ulaştığını kaydeden Doany, şu bilgileri paylaştı: “40 milyona yaklaşan toplam abone sayısı ve 34 bin çalışanımızla ülkenin lider bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri şirketi olarak Türkiye’nin telekomünikasyon pazarına yön vermeye devam ediyoruz. Daha sadeleştirilmiş bir organizasyon yapısı sayesinde belirgin bir şekilde artan operasyonel verimlilik; geçtiğimiz yıl LTE ile ilgili giderler sonrasında iyileşen ticari harcamalarımız ve kur ortamının daha iyi olması ikinci çeyrekte net karımızdaki olağanüstü performansta etkili olan itici güçler. Abone bazımıza baktığımızda özellikle genişbantta güçlü büyüme kaydettik. 2017’nin ikinci çeyreği itibarıyla, sabit genişbant abonelerinin sayısı son dokuz yılın en iyi ikinci çeyrek net abone kazanımı olan 188 bin artışla 9,1 milyona ulaştı. Bu dönemde fiber ürünümüze olan güçlü talep de devam etti ve fiber abone sayımız 2.3 milyona çıktı. 2017 yılı TV segmenti için de oldukça başarılı bir dönem oldu. 179 bin yeni abone kazanımı sağladığımız 2017 ikinci çeyreğinde 2016’nın ikinci çeyreğinin 6 katı kadar yeni TV abonesi ekledik. Böylece toplam TV abone sayımızı 2.3 milyona yükselttik. Tüm bu operasyonel başarılara ek olarak Brand Finance tarafından 8. kez Türkiye’nin en değerli markası da seçildik.
