Medya Ajansı Universal McCann (UM) Nisan ayının ilk günlerinde 1223 örneklemle gerçekleştirdiği Türkiye’nin Korona Günleri Araştırması’nda tüketicilerin yeni rutinini inceliyor. Türkiye’deki 60 milyon yetişkini temsil edecek biçimde yapılan çalışmada, salgının resmi ağızlardan açıklandığı 11 Mart’tan bu yana ülkemizin içinde bulunduğu duygu durumu, tüketicinin ruh hali, davranış ve tercihlerindeki değişiklikler, hayatlarında önem kazanan “an”lar ile yeni yaşamlarındaki medya ve alışveriş tercihleri soruldu ve bu krizde oluşan ihtiyaç alanları belirlendi.

Mehmet Koyuncuoğlu (UM – CEO) : Kriz dönemlerinde bildiğimiz, alıştığımız rutinde muhakkak çatlaklar oluşur. Bu çatlakları önceden anlamak, normale dönüş sürecinde doğru aksiyonlar almak bizim gibi, markalara pazarlama iletişimi alanında danışmanlık veren firmalar için de son derece önemlidir. Biz bu çalışma ile sadece iş alanımızdaki medya ve ilgi alanlarına değil; toplumun genel moduna, ruh haline, bu dönemi nasıl geçirdiklerine, özlem duyduğu anlara ve deneyimlere odaklanarak hangi çatlaktan ışık sızdığını bulmaya çalıştık. Böylece yeni dünyanın yeni tüketicisine ve olası davranış biçimlerine dair öngörüler geliştirmeyi hedefledik.

Melis Tufur (MBI – Genel Müdür): “Türkiye’nin Korona Günleri araştırması pandemi gibi ülkemizin modern tarihinde olmayan bir krizin vatandaşlar üzerindeki etkisini anlamak üzere tasarlandı. Yaşanan sürecin duygu haritasında korku, kaygı, tedirginlik ve üzüntü hakim olmakla birlikte toplumun sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel anlamda farklı katmanlarına farklı biçimlerde yansıdığı gözlemlendi. Zira biyolojik serüveninde olduğu gibi koronavirüs her sosyolojik katmanda aynı etkiyi yapmıyor. Aynı pratiklere ve ihtiyaçlara yol açmıyor. İnsanların ne hissettiğini, ne durumda ne yaptığını, krizle baş edebilme kapasitesini anladığımız yerlerde sözümüzün bir kıymeti var. Şimdi sözün ne olduğundan önce o bağlamı bulmanın zamanı.

Koronavirus’ün Yarattığı Ruh Hali

Türkiye toplumu 11 Mart tarihinde de salgına ilişkin ilk resmi açıklama yapıldığıandan itibaren en çok korku, kaygı, tedirginlik ve üzüntü hissetmiş. Süreçte öne çıkan duygular toplumun sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürelanlamda farklıkatmanlarına farklı düzeylerde yansıyor. Katılımcıların paylaştıkları 1223 öyküden tepki, ihtiyaç ve çözüm üretme kapasitesine göre ayrı gruplar oluşturuldu.

Burada en büyük iki grup Kontrollü Gerginler ve Endişeliler. Kontrollü Gergin’lerin baskın duygusu “Korku ve Tedirginlik” iken Endişeli’de “Üzüntü” ön plana çıktı.

Üçüncü büyük grup ise kısmen olanaklarının uygunluğu, alınan önlemlere duyduğu güven ile tedbirini alıp gündelik hayatının ritmini neredeyse bozmadan yaşayan Tedbirli Sakinler (%16) oldu. Bir diğer grup ise öncesinde de işsizlikle boğuşan ve en fazla zarar gören Çaresizler. Kadınların biraz daha ağırlıkta olduğu Kırılgan Ruhsal Dengeliler krize az ya da çok kaygı bozukluğu şeklinde tepki verenlerden oluşuyor.

Toplumun %12’sini oluşturan bu grupta tıbbi destek alan ve almaya ihtiyacı olanlarla, endişesini ortalamanın üstünde yaşayanlar yer aldı. Aralarında hatırı sayılır kamu çalışanı bulunan %9’luk Sonradan Farkeden Tedirginler ise geç farketmiş olmanın, dolayısıyla yeterince tedbir almamanın tedirginliğini yaşıyor. Karadeniz Bölgesi’nde ve İzmir’de ortalamanın üstünde bulunan bu grubun 25-44 yaş aralığında olduğu gözlendi.

Krize yaklaşımları diğer gruplardan radikal biçimde ayrışan iki grup ise Dindar/Kaderci ve İlgisiz/Uzak. İlk grup konuyu tamamen Allah’ın takdiri olarak görüyor.

Hayatımızda ne değişti?

Türkiye’de iş gücüne katılım oranı TÜİK Ocak ayı raporuna göre %51 iken Türkiye’nin Korona Günleri araştırma sonuçlarına göre bu oran %44.Bu farkın TÜİK’in15 yaş üstü bireyleri, bu araştırmanın ise 18 yaşüstü bireyleri kapsamasından kaynaklanabilir.Türkiye’nin Korona Günleri araştırmasında , Covid-19 salgınının hayatımızda aile/ev, temizlik/hijyen ve sosyal mesafe kavramlarını yükselttiğini tespit edildi.. Katılımcıların %7’si daha fazla TV izlediğini, %6’si daha fazla kitap/gazete/dergi okuduğunu, %2’si daha fazla sosyal medya tükettiğini, belirtirken %3’ten fazla katılımcı maneviyata yöneldi.

Covid-19 salgını döneminde, sigara ve alkol tüketiminde eskiye göre anlamlı bir fark gözlenmiyor. Sadece Sonradan Farkeden Tedirginler grubunun %2’si daha fazla alkol/sigara tükettiğini belirtti.

Kime güveniyoruz?

Toplumun %75’i virüsle ilgili Sağlık Bakanı’ndan gelen bilgilere güveniyor. Sağlık Bakanına güven konusunda gruplar arasında fark olmazken, hükümetten gelen bilgilere Dindar/Kadercilerin ortalamanın üstünde güvendiği gözlendi. Sağlık Bakanı’nı sağlık çalışanlarının bireysel açıklamaları ile hükümet açıklamaları takip ediyor. Bilgi kaynağı olarak televizyon haberlerine sosyal medyada yer alan haberlerden daha fazla güvenildiği anlaşıldı.

Kuralla uyuyor muyuz?

Türkiye’de koronavirüse karşı önlemler arasında yer alan el yıkama kuralına herkesin uyduğu gözlemlendi.Kolonya %85, dezenfektan ise %61 oranında kullanılıyor.. Katılımcıların %82’si sosyal mesafe kuralına uyduğunu belirtiyor. Toplumun %17’si yi beslenmeyi arzu ettiği halde gerçekleştiremediğini söylenler burada Çaresiz grubu göze çarpıyor.

Sosyal mesafe en çok Dindar/Kaderci grubu için uygulaması zor bir kural olarak öne çıkıyor.

Neyi özlüyoruz?

Katılımcıların %59’u dışarıda vakit geçirmeyi özlerken, onu arkadaş/aile/sevdiklerle sosyalleşmeyi özleyenler %56 izledi. İşe gitmeyi bu süreçte en fazla işini kaybeden grup olan Çaresizler %31, en az ise %9’luk oranla Kontrollü Gerginler özledi.

Evde Hayat

EV KUŞLARI: Sanıldığının aksine Çaresiz dışında kalan gruplar evde olmaktan sıkılmadı. 10’lu ölçekte en az 8 düzeyinde keyif alanlar toplamın %36’sini oluşturdu. Evde kalmaktan sıkılanlar ise bu oranın yarısını oluşturuyor.

Evde kalmaktan en fazla mutluluk duyan ev kuşları ise: Dindar/Kaderci ile Endişeli.

HERKES MUTFAĞA SARDI: İzolasyon sürecinde katılımcılar ortalama 2.7 kilo aldılar. Kadınlar 2.5, erkekler ise ortalama 3 kg aldıklarını Belirtti.

EV İÇİ MECRALAR: Televizyonda yer alan haber tartışma programları toplumun %84’ine ulaşıyor. Bu programları en çok izleyenler; emekliler, 55 yaş üstü olanlar, çoğunlukla erkekler ve lise altı eğitim sahip olanlar.

Katılımcıların %80’i düzenli olarak internet kullanıyor. En çok kullananlar; Sonradan Farkeden Tedirginler,18-44 yaş aralığında olanlar ve X jenerasyonu.

Dini programları en çok izleyenler ise dindar/kaderciler 45 yaş üstü olanlar, emekliler ve ev kadınları. PC veya konsolda oyun oynayanlar ise erkek ağırlıklı, 18-34 yaş ağırlığında olanlar Z jenerasyonu,özel sektör çalışanları ve öğrenciler.

İnternette ne yapıyoruz?

Internet kullanan hanelerin %19’unda online platform üyeliği mevcut. Sonradan Farkeden Tedirgin Spotify ve Puhu’yu en fazla kullanan grup olarak öne çıkıyor. Türkiye’nin en popüler iletişim platformu ise Whatsapp.

Çaresizler en çok TikTok’ta, Sonradan Farkeden Tedirgin grubu WhatsApp ve Youtube’da yoğun zaman geçiriyor. Dindar/Kaderci grubu ise Twitter’a uzak.

İnternetten yüz yüze görüşmeler bu dönem en fazla kullanılan iletişim şekli oldu. Katılımcıların %59’u bu servislerden faydalandı. Hobilere dönük online araştırma yapmak ise %54 ile ikinci sırada. Bu araştırmaların önemli bir kısmının yemek yapmakla ilgili olduğu tahmin ediliyor zira görüşmeciler izolasyonun ilk 2.5 haftasında ortalama 2.7 kg aldı. (Kadınlar 2.5, erkekler ise ortalama 3 kg) Bu aktivitenin en önemli takipçisi ise %30’luk oranla ev kadınları.
