Arçelik, Beko ve Grundig markalarıyla Almanya’nın Berlin kentinde düzenlenen, Avrupa’nın en büyük tüketici elektroniği fuarı olarak kabul edilen IFA’da en yeni teknolojilere sahip ürünlerini tanıtıyor. Fuarın ilham veren konuşmacıları arasında yer alan Arçelik CEO’su Hakan Bulgurlu, “insanlığın refah seviyesi artarken gezegenin fakirleşmesi” üzerine yaptığı konuşmasında; gezegenimizi, ekonomik büyüme ve bunun sonucu olarak artan çevresel tahribat denkleminin olumsuz etkilerinden koruyabilmek için şirketleri sürdürülebilir inovasyona öncelik vermeye davet etti. 

Arçelik CEO’su Hakan Bulgurlu, “Gezegenimiz iklim aciliyeti ile karşı karşıya. İklim krizi ile mücadelede sektörümüzün verimlilik odaklı sürdürülebilir inovasyona öncelik vererek büyük fark yaratabileceğine inanıyorum. Arçelik olarak, global ayak izimizi uluslararası gündemde iklim krizine yer açmak; Ar-Ge gücümüzü ise tüketicilerimizin yaşamlarını iyileştirirken doğaya zarar vermeyen teknolojiler geliştirmek için kullanıyoruz. Son birkaç ayda dünyanın hemen her yerinde can ve mal kayıplarına neden olan sel, kuraklık gibi felaketler artık iklim krizine karşı sorumluluk alma zamanının geldiğini gösteriyor. Bugün sürdürülebilirlik konusunda atacağımız her adım; doğaya zarar vermeden özgürce gelişebileceğimiz yaşanabilir bir geleceğin güvence altına alınması demek” dedi. 

Arçelik, Avrupa ev aletleri sektörünün en önemli markalarından Beko ve Grundig ile IFA 2022’de en yeni teknolojilerini sergiliyor. Sürdürülebilirliği tüm global organizasyonunda bir iş modeli olarak konumlandıran Arçelik’in CEO’su Hakan Bulgurlu, Avrupa’nın en büyük tüketici fuarı IFA’da “insanlığın refah seviyesi artarken gezegenin fakirleşmesi” üzerine yaptığı konuşmasında iklim değişikliğiyle mücadele konusunda sektöre acil eylem planı çağrısında bulundu. Bulgurlu, konuşmasında Arçelik’in hane halklarına su tasarrufu sağlamak ve israfı azaltmak üzere tasarladığı SaveWater teknolojisini de anlattı.

Dünyanın karşı karşıya olduğu zorluklardan bahseden Hakan Bulgurlu, “Bir yandan inovasyon ve teknoloji hayatlarımızı kolaylaştırırken diğer yandan mevcut ekonomik model daha fazla tüketime yol açıyor. Aşırı tüketim eğilimi ise ekosistemi olumsuz etkiliyor. Bu paradoksun içinden sürdürülebilir inovasyon ile doğru dengenin kurulmasını sağlayarak ve bugün mücadele ettiğimiz çevre sorunlarına teknolojik çözümler getirerek çıkabileceğimize inanıyorum” dedi. 

Arçelik CEO’su Hakan Bulgurlu: Gezegenimiz iklim aciliyeti ile karşı karşıya

Arçelik’in iddialı iklim hedeflerine ulaşmak için kararlı adımlar attığını belirten Bulgurlu, 2050 yılında net sıfır emisyon hedefinin soyut bir kavram değil, gezegendeki her canlının yaşamını doğrudan ilgilendiren bir konu olduğunu ifade etti ve sözlerini şöyle sürdürdü: “Gezegenimiz, iklim krizine karşı bir dönüm noktasında. İnsanlığın dünya tarihinde bizi, ‘harekete geçenler’ ya da ‘duyarsız kalanlar’ olarak tanımlayacağı bir kavşaktayız. Böyle kritik bir dönemde, sürdürülebilirlik yalnızca bir maliyet unsuru değil, zorunlu bir iş modeli olarak görülmeli. Sektörümüzün sürdürülebilir inovasyona odaklanması, enerji, su ve çevre konularında gerçek anlamda fark yaratan teknolojiler geliştirmeye öncelik vermesi oldukça önemli.” 

İklim değişikliği ile ilgili durumun ciddiyetine değinen Bulgurlu “Farkındalık yaratma dönemini geride bıraktık; artık iklim krizi ile mücadelede sorumluluk alma zamanı. Bugün sürdürülebilirlik konusunda atacağımız her adım; doğaya zarar vermeden özgürce gelişebileceğimiz yaşanabilir bir geleceğin güvence altına alınması demek” şeklinde konuştu. 

Konuşmasında 1,5°C hedefine de vurgu yapan Hakan Bulgurlu, dünyanın 1,5°C hedefine ulaşabilmesi için atması gereken öncelikli adımlar olarak temiz enerjiye geçiş, düzenlenmeye tabi şeffaf karbon piyasalarının geliştirilmesi ve 2050 yılına kadar kömürün aşamalı olarak kullanımdan kaldırılmasının da altını çizdi.

Fuarda ayrıca Arçelik’in yeni teknolojisi SaveWater da tanıtıldı. İlk kez IFA Berlin’de özel olarak tanıtılan bulaşık makinesi ve çamaşır kurutma makinesi-çamaşır makinesi çiftinde kullanılan yeni SaveWater teknolojisi, evlerde suyun daha verimli kullanılmasına yardımcı olmak ve aynı zamanda mükemmel temizlik sağlamak üzere tasarlandı. 

SaveWater teknolojisi hakkında konuşan Hakan Bulgurlu “Arçelik olarak, global ayak izimizi uluslararası gündemde iklim krizine yer açmak; Ar-Ge gücümüzü ise tüketicilerimizin yaşamlarını iyileştirirken doğaya zarar vermeyen teknolojiler geliştirmek için kullanıyoruz. SaveWater ürün grubu, dünyanın en sürdürülebilir şirketi olma ve dünyanın dört bir yanında insanlara fayda sağlayacak yenilikçi teknolojileri benimseme hedefimizi ortaya koyuyor” dedi. 

Bulaşık makinelerinin gelişmiş teknolojisi, döngüdeki son durulama suyunu bir sonraki yıkamanın başında kullanılmak üzere değerlendiriyor. Çamaşır kurutma makinelerindeki SaveWater teknolojisi, yük başına 5,2 litreye kadar su tasarrufu sağlarken, bulaşık makinesi 16 kişilik yükleme kapasiteli tam bir yükü yıkamak için yalnızca 6,9 litre su kullanıyor ve Beko serisindeki en düşük su tüketimini sunarken her yıkamada 2,6 litre su tasarrufu sağlıyor. Beko’nun su verimliliğini gözeterek geliştirdiği yeni SaveWater serisi, her döngüde toplam 7,8 litreye kadar suyu kullanıcılara ve ekosisteme geri veriyor*. 

Arçelik son 12 yılda yaklaşık 2,7 milyon hanenin günlük tüketimine denk su tasarrufu sağladı

Arçelik kaynak verimli yenilikleri desteklemenin yanı sıra su risklerini belirlemek ve verimliliği artırmak için kendi üretim operasyonlarında da en son teknolojilerden yararlanıyor. Şirket, son 12 yılda Türkiye’de yaklaşık 2,7 milyon hanenin günlük su tüketimine denk gelen 2,17 milyon metreküp suyun tasarruf edilmesini sağladı. Sürdürülebilir su yönetimini teşvik etmek ve yerel toplulukların da katılımını sağlamak için hem küresel hem de yerel ortaklarla iş birliği yapan Arçelik, bu yıl yerel toplulukları güçlendirmek ve su ve sanitasyon çözümleri sağlamak için kalıcı bir etki yaratmak amacıyla Kenya’daki suya erişim projelerini finanse etmek için water.org ile bir çalışma başlattı. 

%100 geri dönüştürülmüş ve geri dönüştürülebilir ürün ambalajları

Arçelik, kaynak verimliliğinden atık yönetimi ve geri dönüşüme kadar pek çok alanda yeni çalışmalar geliştiriyor. Çevre dostu ambalaj alternatiflerini de kapsayan bu çalışmalarla Arçelik 2021 yılında ocak, davlumbaz, küçük ev aletleri ve tüketici elektroniği kategorilerinde EPS yerine 324 ton %100 geri dönüştürülmüş ve geri dönüştürülebilir karton ile 40 ton şekillendirilmiş selüloz kullandı. Şirket dünya çapında EPS içermeyen ambalajlarla büyük bir ev aletleri serisi sunan ilk ev aletleri üreticisi olma unvanın da sahibi. Bu geniş kapsamlı taahhütler ve eylemler, Arçelik’e üst üste üçüncü kez Dow Jones Sürdürülebilirlik Endeksi’nde yer alan ilk ve tek Türk üretici olmak ve FTSE4Good ve BIST Endeksleri’nde yer alması gibi önemli global ve sektörel başarılar getirdi.
